Support Homeless Pets with the 14th Annual Best Friends Angel Tree

Posted by: Best Friends

'Tis the season to be jolly... fa la la la ruff, ruff, ruff meow, meow!

The holidays are quickly approaching, which means that the Annual Best Friends Angel Tree is about to begin. Since it's debut in December 2000, the Best Friends Pet Care Angel Tree campaign has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of food, toys and pet care products to more than 100 different shelters and rescues across the U.S. — and dozens of pets have found new homes in time for the new year.

During the November and December months, each Best Friends Pet Care center or veterinary hospital will have a tree on display in their lobby. The ornaments on the trees showcase pictures and information of adoptable cats and dogs from local animal shelters. If you come in for a visit from now through New Years, spend a few minutes looking at the ornaments on the Angel Tree as well as the shelter wish list items.

The Angel Tree has been a huge success in the past and we would love your continued support in an effort to make the holidays a bit brighter for the homeless pets in our communities. Feel free to drop off wish list items or make a monetary donation during your pet's next visit to any Best Friends location. For more information about the Best Friends Angel Tree program, or to make a donation please call your local Best Friends center. Click here to find a location near you.
