The devastating tornadoes that left hundreds homeless in the Oklahoma City metro area Monday also separated many families from their beloved pets.
Best Friends Pet Care is collecting donations to help The Central Oklahoma Humane Society in its efforts to save pets lost during the storm and reunite them with their families. Pet lovers are invited to make a donation by stopping into or calling any Best Friends Pet Care center nationwide.
At Best Friends we know that pets are family members and that it's very stressful to be separated from them, especially in difficult circumstances like this. We want to help reunite these pets with their families as quickly as possible and be sure they are cared for until that can happen.

In addition to accepting donations for the Humane Society’s efforts, the Best Friends Pet Care center in Oklahoma City is collecting donations of food, pet beds and other supplies for the Moore Animal Shelter, where many of the displaced pets are being housed.
Best Friends Oklahoma City also is accepting displaced pets free of charge on a space-available basis. For information, visit the center at 13517 Railway Drive or call 405-751-1944.
